Cycle

You could’ve just said No

Instead of fooling me into your cycle

Of what we now know

That i’ve had to accept

Is another body in your queue

You could’ve just said No

Why tell me everything i needed

To just leave my days hallowed

Pained for not being able to Follow

Clues of your blatant disregard

Of me

You could’ve just said that you are hurting

And needed company

In your rampant spread of misery

You could’ve warned me

Allowing me the choice to

Accept to, ruin me

Ball my own fist and tear my own heart

Until it is ripped apart

Or the choice to say No

Know i had the opportunity

To say i am looking for better

And definitely better than you

You could’ve said No

To my advances

For you knew that you were not what i yearned for

I should’ve said No

By the looks of you

I knew

You were a No
